External Auditors manual
In this article:
Learn how to access and review an organisation's Accreditation evidence report in LogiqcQMS as an external auditor.
The Accreditation Register lets an organisation link its policies, records, and other evidence to the criteria of a standard, so you can review how it complies with each requirement in one place.
Download: the full External Auditors manual is available as a PDF.
Organisations use the Accreditation Register to self-assess against the requirements of more than 70 standards relevant to the health, community, and disability sectors. As an external auditor, the evidence report gives you a structured view of:
- the criteria and requirements of the standard being assessed
- the organisation's description of how it complies with each one
- links to supporting evidence, such as policies, records, and certificates
- links to related scheduled processes, such as audits and compliance tasks
The organisation gives you login access so you can review this evidence directly in their system, rather than working from static exports.
Q: Do I need my own Logiqc account to review evidence?
A: No. The organisation being audited gives you a username and password to access their system.
Q: What if the standard I need to review isn't showing?
A: The organisation may have more than one standard activated. Select the correct standard from the drop-down menu on the Evidence list tab.
Q: Can I get training on how to use the evidence report?
A: Yes. A free 30-minute auditor training session is available. See Get help below.
Before you start
Check the following:
- You have a username and password provided by the organisation you're auditing.
- You know which standard you need to review, in case the organisation has more than one activated.
- The organisation has confirmed which evidence report or requirements they want you to review.
Step 1: Log in
Log in to LogiqcQMS using the username and password provided by the organisation you're auditing.
Step 2: Open the Accreditation evidence report
Open the Accreditation register, select the standard you are reviewing, and go to the Evidence list tab.
Navigation path
If the standard you need isn't displaying, select it from the drop-down menu. Organisations may have more than one standard activated in their system.
Open the Accreditation register, then use the Evidence list tab to review or export the evidence report.
Use the standard menu if the organisation has more than one standard activated.
Step 3: Review an assessment requirement
Click on the specific assessment requirement you want to review. This opens a detailed report showing the organisation's description of how it complies with the criterion, along with hyperlinks to supporting evidence such as documents, records, and certificates. The organisation can also attach links to scheduled processes, such as audits and compliance tasks.
Select an assessment requirement from the Evidence report list.
The detailed report shows the compliance description and links to supporting evidence.
Step 4: Review the linked evidence
Scroll down to review all the evidence the organisation has attached to the criterion. This can include open or completed accreditation and improvement actions, as well as approved policies managed in the organisation's system.
Expand each evidence panel by selecting the + icon, then select the blue ID# link to open the evidence item. Evidence from other registers in the organisation's system appears in its own expandable panel on the same page.
Collapsed evidence panels show the evidence groups available for the requirement.
Expand a panel, then select the blue ID link to open the evidence item.
Evidence from another register, such as Risk, appears in its own expandable panel.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot access or review the evidence:
I cannot log in
- Check that you are using the username and password provided by the organisation.
- Ask the organisation to confirm your account is active.
- Contact the Logiqc Customer Success team if the account still does not work.
I cannot see the standard or evidence I need
- Use the standard menu to check whether another standard is selected.
- Ask the organisation to confirm the evidence has been linked to the requirement.
- Check whether the evidence sits in another expandable register panel lower on the page.
What happens next
You review the requirement
The detailed report shows the organisation's compliance statement and the evidence linked to that requirement.
You open supporting evidence
Each evidence panel links through to the relevant item, such as a document, risk, audit, incident, or feedback item.
Your audit review can continue
Use the evidence report to continue your review, request clarification from the organisation, or book training if you need support.
