Navigating the Accreditation register
In this article:
Learn how to find your way around the Accreditation register in Logiqc, including what each tab is for, how to customise the list view, how to move between standards, and how to find a specific requirement.
The register is organised into tabs, each showing a filtered list of items for the standard you are currently viewing.
If more than one standard is active, the same register layout changes to match the standard you select, including the tab labels and the items available in each tab.
The register splits items across tabs so you can go straight to the view you need, such as the standard's structure, outstanding accreditation actions, evidence reports for auditors, unpublished drafts, or retired standards.
Q: Why are the first two tabs named differently for my standard?
A: They are named after the section levels of the standard you are viewing. For NSQHS, for example, they are titled Items and Actions.
Q: I selected a standard but no items appear. Why?
A: Select the Draft tab. The accreditation items may still need publishing before they appear on the register.
Q: Can a default standard be set for all users?
A: Yes. A system administrator can set the standard that displays automatically when the Accreditation register opens.
Before you start
Check the following:
- You have access to the Accreditation register.
- At least one Accreditation standard has been activated or imported.
- You know whether you are looking for a standard item, action, evidence item, draft, or archived item.
Step 1: Open the register
Navigation path
Select Governance from the left-hand navigation, then Accreditation.
Select the link in a requirement's title to open its Accreditation details page, which shows how your organisation meets the requirement, the linked evidence, the manager and approver, and the next review date.
Step 2: Get to know the tabs
Each tab shows a filtered list of items. The first two tabs are named after the levels of the standard you are viewing (for NSQHS, for example, they are titled Items and Actions).
| Tab | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Section and sub-section tabs | Move through the structure of the standard and open the requirements that sit within each section. |
| Accreditation action plan | Review the accreditation actions created as further work to meet the requirements of the standard. |
| Evidence report | View the evidence linked to each requirement and export an Evidence Report for a single item. |
The register tabs, shown here for the RACGP 5 2023 standard.
Additional tabs may appear depending on your accreditation setup and item status.
| Tab | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Evidence list | Appears when Multi-site or Multi-program accreditation is activated. Use it to filter evidence by program or site and generate reports for that specific scope. |
| Draft | Holds standards imported by Logiqc that are not yet published. Publish an item here to start recording evidence. |
| Archived | Holds items no longer required, such as outdated standards. |
The Accreditation evidence report opens from the Evidence report tab. Use Report timeframe to choose the reporting period, then export the report.
Step 3: Customise your view
Select Edit Columns to change the list view so it displays only the information relevant to you. Your column choices are remembered on the same computer, laptop, or tablet.
Step 4: Switch between standards
If your organisation has more than one standard activated, use the menu at the top of the register to select the standard you want to view. The register shows one standard at a time, so the lists, tab names, and requirements change to match the selected standard.
Use the menu at the top of the register to switch between standards.
Step 5: Find a specific requirement
There are three ways to find content.
- Search this register: use the field at the top right of the register to search the requirements field of every item. Search by a title, part of a title, or a keyword (for example, "leadership").
- Filters: select Filters at the top right, choose one or more options, then select Apply Filters. Select Clear Filter to restore the full list. Filters always offer the full range of options, even when Edit Columns has changed your view.
- Global Search: located at the top of the platform on every page. Search across all registers at once, or limit the search to selected registers.
Troubleshooting
If the register does not show what you expected:
I selected a standard but cannot see any items
- Check the Draft tab. The items may still need publishing.
- Check that the correct standard is selected from the menu at the top of the register.
- Ask an administrator whether the standard has been activated for your platform.
I cannot find a requirement
- Use Search this register with a keyword from the requirement title or description.
- Clear any filters that may be hiding the item.
- Use the section and sub-section tabs to browse the standard's structure.
The tabs changed after I selected another standard
- Check the standard selected in the menu at the top of the register.
- Remember that the first tabs are named after the levels of the selected standard.
- Select the previous standard again if you need to return to its requirements.
