You can set unique workflows for individual assets and contracts to suit your organisation's processes.

About workflow builder

Workflow Builder allows you to design your own workflow and business processes for contract and asset management. For example, you can specify the title of each workflow stage the people who need to check the contract or asset prior to approval. LogiqcQMS will then automatically send the contract or asset from one person to the next - no need to go back and forth from the manager.

Create workflow stage names

When you create workflows for assets and contracts, the names of the workflow stages are selected from the same setup list.

  1. Switch to Admin mode via your user account menu.
  2. Navigate to the Systems settings page
    1. To edit Asset workflow stages, navigate to Settings type - Register settings Asset - Workflow stage names.
    2. To edit Contract workflow stages, navigate to  Settings type - Register settings Contracts - Workflow stage names
  3. Click Add label
  4. Name your workflow stage e.g. 'Budget review' and add the instructions for the user user to follow.  
  5. Click OK then repeat to add additional workflow stages.
  6. Once you have added all your workflow stages click SAVE to save the list

Note:  The Approve stage is a mandatory stage and is the final stage of the workflow.  You can edit the instructions, but it cannot be removed.
