Halt a schedule
If you need to close a recurring schedule, like an audit, you can use the 'Close and Halt' option to stop any future tasks from being generated.
Quick steps
- Navigate to the items register
- Open the item
- Scroll down to the Schedule section of the form
- Select the option Close and Halt
- Confirm the action and the current task will be closed and the schedule will be halted.
Tip: By selecting the Close and Halt option, you will close the current task and prevent any future tasks from being generated. However, if a future task has already been created, you will need to close that as well.
Alternatively, if you only want to close the current generation of the schedule, you can choose the Close and Skip option. Learn more
