November 2023: Major enhancement to Controlled Actions - Say hello to Response Protocols...

You can now do much more with Controlled actions. While the feature has been implemented by more than 50 health and community services organisations across Australia and NZ, there is always room for improvement. 

Feedback from users told us that, while pre-set lists of actions to manage events like incidents and complaints is great, more flexibility is needed to 'fine tune' the response. So, we've listened and we've released two major enhancements to the feature in your platform:

1. Fully editable controlled action list: Once you've selected a pre-set action list in the Manage stage you can now delete actions as well as add new actions.
2. Build your own action list: If you want to program multiple action to respond to an issue but there isn't a suitable pre-set action, you can now simply build a list from scratch without leaving the page.     

Finally, we've also made some cosmetic improvements which should make the feature a bit more intuitive:

More clearly labelled options and a new name for the feature - Response protocols. This is more in line with industry standards and speaks to the nature of what the feature does. That is, allows you to apply and define response protocols for responding to specific adverse events.
