Learn how to bulk load assets into the Asset register in Logiqc.
Logiqc offers an asset import service to help you bulk load assets. Using our asset import template, the process populates all required fields on the Asset details page and publishes each asset as approved. This is a cost-effective option when you have 150 or more assets to create.
Adding assets one at a time isn't practical when you have large numbers to load. With the import service, you populate an Excel-based template with each asset's details, and the Logiqc Product Delivery team reviews it and imports the assets into your Asset register as approved, so they need no action until their next review date.

Q: Is this a paid service?
A: Yes. The asset import is a paid service, cost-effective when you have 150 or more assets to create.
Q: Can I still use it if I've already started adding assets?
A: Yes. Importing is additive, so you can use the service even if you have already begun adding assets. Two batches of imports are allowed when you purchase the service.
Q: What state are the assets in after import?
A: They are added as approved assets and require no action until their next review date.
Before you start
Check the following:
- You have purchased the asset import service.
- You have the details of each asset ready, including all mandatory fields required for it to be published.
- You have confirmed the asset categories, owners, review dates, and any planned disposal dates to include in the template.
Step 1: Logiqc provides the import template
Logiqc provides you with an Excel-based asset import template and a supporting guide that explains how to complete it.
Step 2: Complete the template
Populate the spreadsheet with the details of each asset, including all mandatory fields required for the asset to be published to the register.
Step 3: Logiqc reviews and imports
Our Product Delivery team reviews your completed template and imports the assets into your Asset register.
Step 4: Your assets are published
Your assets are added as approved assets in the Asset register and require no action until their next review date.
