Importing your assets

Bulk import large number of assets with Logiqc's asset import service.

An asset import service is available to help you bulk load assets into the Assets register. Using our asset import template, the process automatically populates all required fields in the asset details form and publishes each asset as approved. This is a cost‑effective option when you have 150 or more assets to create.     

How it works:

  1. Logiqc will provide you with an Excel-based asset import template and a supporting guide that explains how to complete it.
  2. You will then populate the spreadsheet with the details of each asset, including all mandatory fields required for the asset to be published to the register.
  3. Our Product Delivery team will then review your completed asset import template and proceed to import the assets into your Asset register.
  4. Your assets will be added as approved assets in the Asset register and won't require any action until the next review date.

What is included with the import service. 

  • Meet with a Product Specialist:  Before the start of the process, you will have an opportunity to meet with a member of the Product Delivery Team who can provide expert advice on completing the spreadsheet and answering any questions you may have regarding the process. 
  • Dropdown Alignment: Our Product Delivery team will work with you to adjust the Excel file so that the options in your spreadsheet exactly match the dropdown menus in your Logiqc Asset Register. This ensures the data "snaps" into place perfectly during the upload.
  • Expert Support: Our Product team will assist with the technical configuration to make the process much easier and more accurate.
  • Field Alignment: Our asset import spreadsheet clearly identifies which fields the Logiqc system requires, ensuring you don't miss any critical data points during your current collection phase.

Note:  Importing assets is additive, so if you have already started adding assets, you can still use the Logiqc asset import service. We allow two batches of imports when you purchase the asset import service.
