Completing an invoice action

This article describes how to complete an invoice action within the Contracts register

Invoice actions can be created in the Contracts register and assigned to any user. An invoice action enables you to define the details of an invoice that needs to be created against a contract and to email the draft invoice to an internal staff member such as a finance officer.

1. Click on the invoice task in My tasks. This will open the draft invoice form.

2. Click on the Add button to create invoice line items

3. You can save the invoice as a draft at this stage and return to complete it later. Or you can send the invoice to the relevant staff member for action. Once you send the invoice it will no longer be editable.
