July-August 2021: Enhancements to the Assets registers, accreditation support and managing viewing permissions

Features and updates released to LogiqcQMS in July and August 2021

Enhancements for managing assets 1540073758, 1529041430, 1497214473, 1511438912, 1397838789

Small enhancements to the Assets register in direct response to user feedback:

  • New filter for Asset location allowing for queries and categorisation based on the location of the asset.
  • Ability to replace the LogiqcQMS ID# with your own asset ID for stronger links to the other systems you have that support asset management such as your accounting package.
  • Conversion of the separate asset type and asset category menus to be a linked, double level menu. This supports the implementation of a more sophisticated data architecture which is needed particularly when you're dealing with high numbers of assets across multiple categories.
  • Increased options to bulk edit Assets allowing for quick change of attributes such as category, asset manager, review date, and more.
  • New flag for depreciating assets and a menu for depreciation method.

Accreditation support 1521422702

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care released an updated version of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (2nd Edition) in May 2021. As expected in this time of pandemic, changes to the standards relate to infection prevention and control.

In line with these changes we have updated the Accreditation register to support the creation of evidence reports tailored to the new requirements in the Standard.

If you're using LogiqcQMS to demonstrate compliance with NSQHS, contact us now for advice about updating your system.

Stronger data security 1444525852

LogiqcQMS has very granular controls around who can see register items. This is controlled using the two Viewing permissions controls which can be found in the Assign component in each of the registers. This new feature improves the tracking of changes to these settings throughout the life of the items by listing in detail exactly the permissions that were changed, by whom and when. These details are displayed in the System event history.
