Assets, maintenance and repairs
  1. Assets, maintenance and repairs

Asset register overview

The Asset register comes bundled with the Maintenance register allowing for the scheduling of planned maintenance.

Provided as a bundle, the LogiqcQMS Asset and Maintenance registers work together to maximise asset lifecycle value, minimise risk, and improve safety by helping you to create a centralised register of assets and a schedule of planned maintenance tasks.

As an integrated component of the LogiqcQMS, you can link your assets to related policies and procedures for greater visibility within a wider governance framework.

The Assets register also integrates with other LogiqcQMS registers as part of your subscription to track related contracts, fault and repair reporting, incidents, supplier performance and more.

Asset overview

The LogiqcQMS Asset and Maintenance registers work together to enable you to:

  • Create a fully searchable and centralised enterprise asset register. • Schedule and monitor recurring maintenance and service tasks.
  • Set asset review and disposal dates and automatic reminders.
  • Store information and records of routine and preventive maintenance.

Form tabs

The Asset details form features tabs that take you to 'windows' into related items held in other registers.

  • The Documentation tab displays a list of procedures, policies, manuals, and supplier contracts related to the asset.
  • The Incidents tab displays incidents from the Incidents register which have been linked to the asset.
  • The Maintenance tab displays completed and future tasks from the Maintenance register which have been scheduled eg planned maintenance and service schedules.
  • The Suppliers tab displays related suppliers from the Suppliers register involved with the manufacture, supply and/or maintenance of the asset which have been linked to the asset.
  • The Repairs tab displays repair or maintenance requests from the Repairs register which have been linked to the asset.
  • The Other related items tab displays all other link items in your system such as staff training and credentialing and scheduled audits.

Form components

The Asset details form comprises six components each containing a number of fields for describing and categorising the asset, programming the workflow for asset review, and attaching related records.

  • The Asset details component includes fields to categorise and describe the incident.
  • The Allocations component enables the asset to be 'checked out' or allocated to an LogiqcQMS user or business contact
  • The Cost component includes fields for purchase method, cost and depreciation information
  • The Assign component enables the setting of viewing permissions and the assignment of the users playing the roles of asset owner and manager in the workflow.
  • The Workflow component allows for the programming of the required workflow stages the asset should go through during the review and approval process.
  • The Attach records component allows for files or URL links to be included and records or references to the asset.
