Adding and managing documents

Archiving documents

Documents cannot be deleted from the QMS, however they can be unpublished and archived using the Archive function.

Note:  You must have permission level of Approving officer and above to archive a document.

  1. Navigate to Governance and select Documents
  2. Find the document via the filters or keyword search
  3. Open the document by clicking on the name and scroll to the bottom of the details form.
  4. Click on Archive 
     
  5. Add your reasons for archiving the document.  (To cancel, click on the cancel button)
  6. Click Archive and the document will be moved to the Archived documents  tab in the Document register.

The System event history will record archiving action and comment.
