User Licences

About User Licences

A user license sets the limits for the tasks and actions that a user is able to perform.

User licences play a crucial role in determining the tasks and actions that a user can perform within the Logiqc platform. With different types of licences available, it becomes easier to manage and control user access and permissions.

There are four types of user licences that can be assigned to individuals:

1. External user licence (free):

This licence is complimentary and does not count as part of your Logiqc subscription. It is designed to provide access to non-users who may need to access your platform for specific purposes. For example, external auditors can use this licence for accreditation reviews, and external IT administrators can utilize it for accessing API settings. By default your platform comes with 1 free user external user licence. Note: users with an external user licence are unable to add register items or perform tasks. Learn more

2. Read and Report licence (paid):

This is the most basic licence and allows users to report various issues such as feedback, improvements, incidents, and repairs. However, there are certain restrictions on the tasks they can perform. Users with this licence can only be assigned tasks from the Training and Licensing registers.

3. Action licence - (paid):

This is a mid-level licence for users who need to receive tasks and work with any of the registers configured in your platform. This licence enables users to actively participate in the platform and contribute by receiving and completing assigned tasks.

4. Approval licence (paid):

This is the highest licence for users who need the ability to add, manage, approve, and close items in all registers. It empowers them to oversee and control the entire process, ensuring that tasks are completed and items are appropriately managed.

It is important to note that each licence type has predefined permissions that determine the actions and tasks users can perform. These permissions cannot be exceeded, although they can be reduced if necessary. Learn more
