About risk management
Monitor your exposure to identified risks and implement strategies to mitigate the chance of harm.
Risk management is the identification, evaluation, and prioritisation of risks followed by the application of resources to minimise, monitor, and control the probability or impact of unforeseen adverse events.
The diagram below illustrates the risk management framework defined in the ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard.
The LogiqcQMS Risk register assists you to identify, evaluate and treat strategic and operational risks in your organisation. It includes features to support you to:
- identify known and potential risks and demonstrate existing controls
- rate risks using a consequence/Impact matrix
- set and track risk mitigation actions
- report on occurrences of risk across the business
- manage risk in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 and 31000 quality and risk management standards.
