About the Contracts register

Your dedicated space for managing contractual agreements, obligations and compliance requirements.

Learn about how contract management works in Logiqc and how to keep your organisation's contracts and service agreements tracked, current, and on schedule for review and renewal.

The Contracts register is a central library for the agreements your organisation relies on, such as supplier, funding, and employment contracts.

Contracts carry renewal dates and ongoing obligations, so keeping them controlled helps ensure the right people act before an agreement lapses or a commitment is missed.

Contracts and service agreements commit your organisation to obligations, payments, and renewal dates that are easy to lose track of when they are held in inboxes and shared drives. A missed renewal or an overlooked obligation can carry real financial and compliance consequences.

Keeping contracts in a single, controlled register means the current version of each agreement is always available to the people who need it, and the key dates are never left to memory.

Logiqc manages the full lifecycle of each contract, from adding it through review, approval, and publication, to archiving when it is no longer needed. When a contract is due for review or renewal, Logiqc automatically generates tasks for the responsible users so nothing is missed.

Q: Who can add a contract?

A: Users with the Add contracts permission can add contracts. The minimum licence type required is Action.

Q: What happens when a contract's review date is reached?

A: Logiqc automatically generates a Manage task for the Contract manager, prompting them to review and progress the contract through the workflow.

Q: Can I publish a contract without sending it through the workflow?

A: Yes, if you are the Contract owner and you upload the contract, you can quick-publish it, which bypasses the workflow.

The contract workflow

Every contract in Logiqc follows a lifecycle that moves it through stages before it can be published. The workflow ensures contracts are reviewed and approved by the right people.

Hover over each stage to see what happens there. Delegated reviews are optional, and reviewed contracts return to the Contract manager.

Contract workflow A new contract is added at the Add stage and moves to the Manage stage for manager review. The Contract manager escalates the contract for approval or optionally delegates the review; reviewed contracts return to the Contract manager. Eligible contracts can be quick-published from the Add stage. Add Stage 1 Manage Stage 2 Review Approve Stage 3 Manager review Optional Quick-publish Escalate for approval
